Founder's Profile
Reon Huang, graduated as an Architect (in 1991) and as an Urban Planner (in 2008) from the National University of Singapore. His architectural design works include the Phase-3 extension to the prestigious Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore, a final Polytechnic project designed by famous British Architect Sir James Frazer Sterling.
Reon has also designed several thought-provoking MRT Train Stations such as the Serangoon and Woodleigh MRT Station in Singapore.
A passionate inventor at heart, Reon has filed several patents (from as early as 1992) with his more recent patents covering renewable energy solutions, or Eco-nergy, that he intends to seamlessly integrate within green-energy powered tall-buildings - what Reon coined as Eco-tecture.

Ocean, Wind & Architecture

The ocean and wind interact closely, with wind driving surface currents and triggering phenomena like upwelling. Ocean currents, in turn, influence wind patterns by affecting atmospheric pressure.

This interplay profoundly shapes global climate, weather, and marine ecosystems and architecture, highlighting their essential connection in Earth's dynamic system.

Urban Cities, like Singapore experiences only low-wind speed (from 1.5 m/s to 4.5m/s). With high land cost, and moderate sunlight, Singapore is declared an alternative-energy disadvantaged nation (by UNFCC) making her aim towards achieving net-zero targets in the next 20-30 years a very difficult one.

Voltreon Energy is designed to help urban centres harness all the wind-energy that is available (complementing with Solar and other renewable-solutions). Voltreon Energy is a multi-directional vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) that can be designed in several configurations to work in tight space where it can capitalise on height-of-space (rather than the extensive Floor-area required in Solar-PV solutions).
